While other people are seeking the meaning of love and hate inside a karaoke booth, the Monk is at home contemplating one path. The Monk has already seen through the red dust of the world and would very much prefer that random people stop showing up and disturbing the cultivation. The Monk's personal space is their force field, their Mount Sumeru, their absolute sanctuary — not to be violated. Anyone who steps inside will feel a soul-deep suffocation creeping in. Monks neither cling nor smother. In their worldview, every being travels its own independent orbit. Planets stay billions of kilometers apart and that's exactly what makes the universe harmonious — so why should humans be any different?
