SBTI Test FAQ

Everything you might want to know about SBTI before (or after) taking the test.

What is the SBTI test?+

SBTI stands for Silly Big Personality Test. It is a viral parody of MBTI featuring 31 questions, 15 dimensions, and 27 wildly different personality types — built for laughs, not for HR.

How long does the SBTI test take?+

About 3 minutes. Most people finish all 31 questions in under 4 minutes, including the special Drink Gate question.

Is SBTI free?+

Yes. 100% free, no signup, no email required, no tracking. We do not collect any personal information.

How is SBTI different from MBTI?+

MBTI is a serious psychological tool with 4 dimensions and 16 types. SBTI explodes that to 15 dimensions and 27 types, but with full internet-meme energy. One sentence: MBTI is for the office, SBTI is for the group chat.

Is the SBTI test scientifically accurate?+

No. SBTI is for entertainment only. Do not use the results for any serious decisions. That said, the 27 personalities are surprisingly specific — many people find SBTI calls them out harder than MBTI ever did.

Which SBTI type is the rarest?+

HHHH (the Hahaha) is the fallback type — only triggered when your top match scores below 60%. It is theoretically the rarest. DRUNK is the secret type unlocked by the famous Drink Gate question.

What is the Drink Gate?+

A special question inserted around question 16 that asks about your relationship with alcohol. Answer 'I drink hard liquor' honestly and the system overrides everything else and assigns you the DRUNK type. It's SBTI's tribute to Chinese drinking culture.

Can I retake the SBTI test?+

Yes, as many times as you want. There is no result history saved on our side — every test is fresh.

Can I share my SBTI result?+

Yes. Each result has its own permanent URL like sbtitest.fyi/en/result/dead. Share it via the share button or just copy the link. It works on Twitter, Reddit, Discord, WhatsApp — anywhere.

Who created SBTI?+

SBTI was originally designed by Bilibili creator @蛆肉儿串儿 (UID 417038183). This site is a fan mirror / re-creation focused on SEO and shareability. All personality designs and posters belong to the original author.
